About the Designer:
Michael Duval was born in Miami, Florida. He received his bachelor's degree from Cornell University and continued post-graduate studies in the US and Europe. Recognizing his lifelong passion for design, he accepted a position at Marc-Michael's Interior Design. He later opened Michael Duval Interiors, a full service interior decorating firm in Winter Park, Florida.
Michael's custom residential projects encompass furniture layout and selection, custom fabrication including drapery and bedding, decorative lighting, artwork and antiques, floral arrangements and greenery, and accessories.
About the Project:
This job was one of the largest we have had to date. We were responsible for decorating the whole house, from furniture to bedding and window treatments. We worked with Suncraft to make all of the window treatments and bedding, as well as some other items. Suncraft worked with us on this project from beginning to end. They measured the whole house and helped us make our designs a reality with their expertise knowledge of window treatments. They manufactured custom drapes, cornices, and bedding for this job. They even provided motorized shades and blinds. They installed all of the items for us, overcoming several difficult situations in the process. In the end everything turned out beautifully and as usual it was a pleasure working with Suncraft.
